Why sometimes we wake up, but we cannot move (Sleep paralysis)



Sleep is a good way to refresh our self in daily life. Sleep is linked with all our body
Muscle relaxation and reduced our body from the environmental stress. Bedroom is the nice place to take rest. But sometimes we suffer with problem of sleep paralysis.

 

 What is Sleep Paralysis?

Sleep Paralysis means we wake up, but we cannot move that is we are personally experiencing failure to move, speak or react. Some of the people they try to breathe themselves but they cannot do it for a particular second in their sensation only. Some of the people feel that dark shadows in their room or ugly structure like a devils or demons sit on their body.

Sleep Paralysis – is it Dangerous?

In general populations less than 8% of people affects in sleep paralysis. Most probably 25%  of  people experienced it at some point during their life. Fortunately it is not to be considered as a dangerous or harmful medical condition.

Sleep Paralysis – Causes

The sleep paralysis causes disorder such as sleep apnea. The sleep paralysis is commonly seen in patients with narcolepsy. People with mental disorder such as anxiety and depression are more likely to experience sleep paralysis.

Sleep Paralysis – Reasons

In our sleep dream take place, during our sleep RAPID EYE MOVEMENT (REM) sleep the brain and view a dream and turn off the muscles of our body. Sometimes the mind goes to sleep, but the body wake up and walking, that time we don’t have any sense until our brain get a signal or wake up. Sometimes the body goes to sleep that is we cannot do any action, but our mind wake up.

How to Avoid Sleep Paralysis

Prevention is better than cure. We are the reason for most of our health illness. So we try to avoid sleep paralysis with control our self to follow some precaution steps. We don’t think about a particular matter or topic again and again and we don’t worry about that matter. Think goods things before going to sleep. Before going to sleep pray to your God.
        
Avoid using desktop, laptop, and mobile phones one hour before going to sleep. Try to avoid drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, and tobacco. Every night go to the bed with correct time that is normal man sleep 6-7 hours daily. 
       
If someone still having problem and experiencing in sleep paralysis, following the precaution method, then they  must consult the doctor because may be it is narcolepsy, sleep apnea, or cause of depression
